Capoeira Angola - Classes in Mumbai

Hello!

We are a Capoeira Angola study group in Mumbai.

Capoeira is a traditional Brazilian art which involves martial arts, acrobatics, dance, and music. Created hundreds of years ago by the Africans in Brazil, with influences from Brazil’s various other races, Capoeira has come to symbolize freedom, positive energy, and an example of Afro-Brazilian culture. Capoeira Angola is the traditional form of the art which has a focus on practicality, core strength, music, and ritual. It is characterized by playful, ritualized games, which combine elements of dancing, combat, and music, while stressing interaction between the two players and the musicians and observers.

Our classes are held every Sunday from 5-7pm at St. Joseph's Primary School in Bandra (w). Please contact us for more details!
