Capoeira Angola Mumbai - 1st Capoeira Angola Workshop!!

Capoeira Angola Mumbai is proud to present its first Capoeira Angola Workshop. We are planning three days of movements, music, instrument making, and films about capoeira angola for current and new students of capoeira in Mumbai. We welcome absolute beginners for this workshop, and are looking forward to seeing the entire Mumbai capoeira community there!

Friday (8th February 2013):
Movie Showing - Mestre Pastinha Documentary
Time: 9pm-11pm
Description: A documentary about the godfather of Capoeira Angola, Mestre Pastinha. Bring your own popcorn/candy/booze. 
Location: Bandra Base, 29th Road, Bandra (W), right next to the Mickey Mehta Gym. 
Cost: Rs. 50 

Sunday (10th February 2013):
Making Capoeira Instruments  
Time: 2pm-4pm
Description: We will be making caxixi's, reco-reco's, arame, and other Capoeira Instruments, repairing berimbau's, etc. Bring your instruments (especially ones you want repaired!) 
Location: Bandra Base, 29th Road, Bandra (W), right next to the Mickey Mehta Gym. 
Cost: Rs. 100 

Movement/Music/Roda Class
Time: 5pm-7pm
Description: We will be teaching a capoeira angola class for both experienced and beginner students.
Location: St. Joseph's Primary School - Manuel Gonsalves Road, Bandra (W) 
Cost: Rs. 100

Wednesday (13th February 2013):
Movement/Music/Roda Class
Time: 7pm-9pm
Description: We will be teaching a capoeira angola class for both experienced and beginner students.
Location: St. Joseph's Primary School - Manuel Gonsalves Road, Bandra (W) 
Cost: Rs. 100

We want to wish you a very happy New Year and a Merry Christmas. Its been a great year for Capoeira Angola Mumbai, and we couldn't have reached our current point without all your support and dedication. So muito muito abrigdo! Really looking forward to next year and making the class bigger, better, and more fun then ever before!

That said, we are still having class on the 25th (christmas) and the 1st (new years day). So please do come and work off those hangovers!
